FARGO, N.D. — Peter Brookshaw has signed with the Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks of the American Association.
Brookshaw started all 220 games he appeared in over five seasons at NDSU and was one of only two players in Bison history to both appear and start in at least 220 games. The Prescott, Wis., native concluded his NDSU career ranked inside the top three in several categories, including most games started (tied 1st, 220), games played (2nd, 220), runs scored (tied 2nd, 168), RBI (2nd, 165), stolen bases (tied 2nd, 48), and hits (3rd, 239).
Brookshaw made his professional debut on Wednesday against the Sioux Falls Canaries and notched a double in his first at-bat. He joins former Bison pitcher Tristen Roehrich on the RedHawks roster after he signed with the organization in June.
