Winter Fan Day Set for October 22 in Conjunction with Men’s Basketball Exhibition Game vs. MSU Moorhead
FARGO, N.D. – The North Dakota State University Athletic Department is excited to announce details surrounding this year’s Winter Fan Day happening on Thursday, Oct. 22 starting at 6:00 p.m. at the Scheels Center.
Winter Fan Day – presented by WDAY, Gate City Bank, and Great Clips – will combine our men’s basketball exhibition game against MSU Moorhead with the opportunity for fans to meet, interact with, and get to know this year’s men’s and women’s basketball teams and wrestling team to gain behind-the-scenes access prior to the start of the regular season.
The event begins at 6:00 p.m., when doors open for the game, and fans can enter through both the North and South entrances of the Scheels Center. Activities for Fan Day will consist of autographs with all three teams, a bouncy house, a word from all three head coaches, and, of course, Bison basketball! In addition, corporate partners will be giving out promotional items and interacting with fans on the concourse.
At 6:00 p.m., autographs with the wrestling team will begin on the lower North concourse, with the women’s basketball team joining them at 6:30 p.m. until the start of the game. During the game, you are welcome to continue interacting with corporate partners and enjoying the bouncy house in the Northeast corner of the Scheels Center.
Your Bison women’s basketball and wrestling teams will take the court at halftime, which will feature a few words from head coaches Jory Collins and Obenson Blanc, respectively. Bison fans, stay alert as they walk off the court as a surprise is in-store for you!
Following the conclusion of the game, men’s basketball head coach, Dave Richman, will address the crowd from mid-court. Autographs with the men’s basketball team in the lower North concourse will conclude the night’s activities.
A ticket to the men’s basketball game against MSU Moorhead is required to enter for both the game and Winter Fan Day.
