FARGO, N.D. – The Carson Wentz AO1 Foundation will host its third-annual Charity Softball Game at
Newman Outdoor Field in Fargo, N.D., on Tuesday, June 21, 2022.
The event will feature Carson Wentz, quarterback for the Washington Commanders, and former North
Dakota State University football players competing in a home run derby and nine-inning game. Full rosters
will be announced at a later date.
Tickets go on sale at 11 a.m. CT on Monday, April 25, and will be discounted 25% for the first week with
the promo code “WENTZ25”. Tickets will be available online at ao1foundation.org or in person at the
Newman Outdoor Field ticket office. The ticket office is open Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. CT
and can be reached by phone at 701-235-6161.
“The softball game really provides a great opportunity for us to connect with so many people,” said Carson
Wentz, president of the AO1 Foundation. “Since we launched the foundation, the support we’ve received in
North Dakota has been incredible, and this event is a great way for us to share the impact we’ve been
able to make because of that support.”
On June 21, stadium gates will open at 6 p.m. CT, the home run derby will begin at 7 p.m. with the game
to follow at 8 p.m., and the evening will conclude with postgame fireworks. The event will also feature a
silent auction with a variety of autographed items and fan experiences. In addition, merchandise from the
AO1 Foundation will be for sale.
Since the event began in 2019, more than 6,000 fans have attended the Charity Softball Game, which has
raised more than $300,000 in support of the foundation’s ministries. In 2021, Zack Johnson was the home
run derby champion, and Team Defense rallied late before winning the game in extra-innings to even the
all-time series, 1-1.
